As the Founder, President and Board Member of We Care STL, Inc., Vas is responsible for managing the daily operations, leading initiatives and meetings, networking with partners and ensuring the organization can meet its targeted donation thresholds. Vas graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a B.S. in Statistics with a studies concentration in Finance, and wanted to look for ways to help his local community once the pandemic hit and wanted to better serve his community. His professional work experience includes working as a trader, as an equity research associate at Stifel Financial, as a software developer at one of the largest telecommunication companies in the U.S., as well as a Mergers and Acquisitions Consultant for a boutique public accounting firm. He has a strong passion for helping and taking care of others and putting a smile on people’s faces.

His interests include teaching and tutoring, mentoring others, cooking, hiking and being outdoors, as well as eating out at restaurants and spending time with family and friends.

Gus is a Co-founder, Treasurer and Board Member of We Care STL, and holds the responsibility of assisting with the daily financial operations to ensure the organization is meeting its daily mission, fundraising objectives and reporting requirements. Gus is a graduate of the University of Missouri - St. Louis with a B.S. in Accounting and a CPA in the State of Missouri. His professional experience includes working as an auditor with over 33 years experience in government contract auditing as well as over 30 years in nonprofit church accounting working with Servant Keeper and QuickBooks Pro. Mr. Harris’ passion is to serve the public and community particularly those in need who require assistance and help with everyday living.

Mr. Harris’ interests include swimming, cooking, photography, walking, reading, playing golf and traveling.

Kiran Depala, is the Secretary and Board Member of We Care STL, is responsible for setting up donation events, reaching out to local businesses, and spreading awareness about the underinsured population. Kiran is currently a freshman at St. Louis University majoring in Public Health and is part of the Medical Scholars program. Kiran is pursuing a career in Medicine and hopes to become a physician one day. Back at home in Southern California, he has worked at various private practices and hospitals while also being involved in medical research. Currently, he is volunteering at Red Cross and Campus Kitchen. His mission is to help others and make the world a better place one step at a time.

His interests include playing basketball, working out, listening to music, writing blogs, reading up on stocks, and hanging out with friends.

Yesh is a Volunteer Coordinator and Board Member for We Care STL at Saint Louis University located in St. Louis. He is currently a freshman in the Medical Scholars program with conditional acceptance into their medical school. He is studying Biology at the College of Arts & Sciences. Yesh hopes to matriculate into medical school and then specialize in cardiology. While in St. Louis, Yesh enjoys spending his time helping coach debate teams nationwide in addition to dancing with SLU Shakti. At home in Houston, he is a nationally certified EMT. He hopes to use his prior knowledge of working with charities to help expand We Care STL. With that, he will help We Care STL become a nationwide charity.

His interests include playing basketball, writing for medical relate blogs, cooking, and listening to music.

Ange is a campus ambassador for We Care STL at Washington University in St. Louis and is responsible for campaign outreach. She is currently a sophomore undergraduate architecture student at Washington University in St. Louis. She has been heavily involved in her community at home in Alabama and is looking for ways to do the same in St. Louis, as it has become a second home for her. Ange wants to use her background in architecture and design to work on public housing projects to help others after graduation.

Her interests include visual arts, reading, listening to podcasts, and talking about music to whoever will listen to her.

Chiara is a Campus Ambassador for We Care STL at Washington University in St. Louis, where she is a sophomore. She is studying Psychology, Marketing, and the Business of Entertainment, and hopes to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. She was previously involved with environmental nonprofits in Los Angeles and has experience with social media management and volunteer event organizing. She hopes to use her digital marketing background to bring awareness to We Care STL. Chiara loves St. Louis and currently works part-time in a local chicken sandwich restaurant; her goal is to continue making connections and contributing to her community.

In her free time, Chiara is probably hiking, doing yoga, or learning to cook new recipes with her roommates. The highlight of her day is making pour-over coffee and oatmeal.

Amanda is a Campus Ambassador for We Care STL at Washington University in St. Louis, where she is a sophomore. She is studying Healthcare Management and Entrepreneurship at the Olin School of Business. She hopes to pursue a career in the intersection of business and medicine, specifically biomedical entrepreneurship. Back at home in New York, Amanda volunteers at her local fire department as an EMT. She hopes to use her clinical background to help efficiently grow We Care STL. Amanda loves St. Louis and being involved on campus; her goal is to continue making connections and contributing to her community.

In her free time, Amanda enjoys exploring her creativity through cooking, hiking across the country, and kicking a soccer ball in her backyard. The highlight of her day is when she can get into bed and read a book.

I am a software developer for We Care STL studying Computer Science at Saint Louis University, College of Arts & Sciences. I hope to make use of and strengthen my programming and technical skills to make an impact on the uninsured communities and individuals in need around the St. Louis Area.

My hobbies include art, playing video games, playing the piano and violin, latin dancing, and discovering and learning new things such as balisong. I hope to work as a software developer or a field in cyber-security in the future.

I am a major in Psychological & Brain Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis with a concentration in Cognition in Children; I am also minoring in business and music. While in college, I have taken some roles in social media outreach and marketing in student organization, and I plan on honing in on these skills over the next few years. Moreover, I have a background in volunteering and working in recreational centers for children, such as School of Rock, a performance-based music school, and Camp Lakota, a 7-week long summer sleep-away camp; I would consider working with children not only an interest of mine, but a strength as well.

I believe myself to be a driven, diligent, motivated and caring individual, and I am excited to see where my education will take me!

Yoonkwon is a recent graduate from University of Minnesota Twin Cities where he studied Computer Science and Chemistry. He is fueled by his passion for creating positive impacts on others using technology. He plans to attend a Master's program in Computer Science starting Spring 2022.

Yoonkwon's interests include bouldering, cooking, coding, gaming, reading, and photography.

Qin is a software developer for We Care STL. She is a fresh graduate from Washington University in St. Louis where she gained her master's degree in Information System Management. She received much help from non-profit organizations since she came to the United States and wants to give back using skills she learned from campus.

Qin's interests include photography, working out, cooking and watching movies. She enjoys traveling with friends and exploring the newly opened restaurant in the city.
